Little Hooves Horse Rescue sees the value in being able to save horses from ending up at auction or thrown away. Our desire is that every horse would have the chance to live its best life. Some horse owners will face difficulties from time to time, and instead of dumping a horse or taking a horse to the auction where it runs the risk of ending up at slaughter, we offer a “buyout” program. The buyout program is a limited purchase program due to the economic stresses and difficulties. Surrendered horses will be taken in and we will address health and behavioral needs and make decisions in the best interest of the animal. All minis of any shape, size, condition, age, and training are accepted. Upon pickup, a check for $50 a head will be provided to you. Brand inspections must also be provided.
